The closest you could come to pinpointing this band is the Cocteau Twins meeting the Sundays, but don't let my flattery fool you. The key to such ambient folk rock is how well produced and engineered the album is, and Chimera doesn't pull it off. The band's natural sound defeats the ethereal mood Eileen Henry's vocals offer. They aren't bad, but I wouldn't rush out to pick it up. (ALEX)
