"Duh, The Big City" CD (Amphetamine Reptile)
Some of these songs remind me of some early Fishwife tunes, and at times, they are almost likable. But while there are moments of musical clarity, the bulk of this CD is banal and indicative of how old the superfuzz grunge guitar is getting these days. Beware the loud, useless outburst at the beginning of song 10, I thought my speakers were going to blow - but then, if that had happened, I would have at least had a story to tell. (ADAM)
