I suppose this passes for punk these days and it makes me want to shoot myself when it's late at night and I'm not thinking clearly. It isn't that this album sucks, it's just ... boring. Rehashed garage/cock rock chord progressions, an indolent "punk" attitude, the same sentiments spouted on countless "Born to Lose"-themed records since Johnny Thunders. If this is what I have to look forward to, fuck living forever.
"Plastique Valentine" CD (Epitaph)
Straight-forward rock 'n' roll which works better in a club when you have a drink in each hand and a cigarette hanging out of your mouth at a jaunty angle. When sober, this is pretty dull stuff.
