So we make devotional music entertainment, transferring it from the realm of the spiritual and spirit lifting to the province of the mundane, dragging it back down to earth with us in our own small-mindedness. Lhamo's voice is simply a revelation, soaring and falling like an exotic bird which has never been seen before and will probably never be seen again. If it took transforming holy music into a commodity to bring her talent to light, I will grudgingly allow it may have been worth it.
