Nova Mob
"Self-titled" CD (Restless)
Grant Hart's solo career has occasionally lacked the lyrical and musical brilliance he often displayed with a certain now-defunct trio. Intolerance was a solid album, as was Last Days Of Pompeii, but both featured material that wasn't his strongest writing. On his third album though, it's a different story. From the initial melodic rush of "Old Empire" to the introspective tone of "If I Was Afraid/Coda," it's obvious Hart is in prime form. If you've ever been a fan of anything he has done, you should own this now.
