rex "c" CD (Southern)

It's too early to listen to this. It's 8 p.m. and I'm getting ready to go hang out with some friends, and already I can feel my system slowing down, shifting into a languid, reflective mode. Thinking about people I've known, people I've loved and people who have moved on - steeped in melancholy, introspection and too much time spent waiting by rain-streaked windows, waiting for you to come back. Waiting for you to come home. This isn't an album to keep you company while you get drunk. This is an album to ward off the cold night air as you go to sleep alone, again. The same way it's been for days, weeks ... years. This is your solace. This is the only album that understands.
