Rise Against
"Revolutions Per Minute" CD (Fat)
I've been wrestling with this disc for several weeks now because - while I like the politics and sentiments expressed in these songs - the music sounds like stereotypical run-of-the-mill Fat. It's true that in recent years, Fat has substantially diversified, but assholes like me remember that long stretch in the 90's when everything sounded like NOFX and, unfortunately, this music supporting these lyrics isn't that different. With that said, this album won't be going into my sell pile soon.
