Voodoo Glow Skulls

"Firme" CD (Epitaph)

"O.K., fuck recording a new album, let's just record the old album, but in Spanish." The ska-punk Skulls return "en Espanol." How come I never hear stuff like this when I'm driving through Bakersfield with nothing but Spanish channels on the radio? (TOM)

"Firme" CD (Epitaph)

I thought for sure after "Who Is This Is" that I wouldn't really enjoy anything else by this band. I admit I was wrong, this record is a lot better. In fact the songs are well written, a bit faster, arranged better and on the whole, a lot of fun. I can't say anything bad really about this record, except the lyrics are pretty pointless. Geez, I like it when a band can actually play ska-influenced music. The only thing worse than bad ska bands is bad white boy funk bands. Available at all SAM GOODY(tm) outlets. (DAVE)

"Baile De Los Locos" CD (Epitaph)

Ska. Metal. Sucks.
