"Better Days" CD (Doctor Dream)
"Went down to the corner store / Yeah." Wait a second, you lost me there, what happened again? In a nutshell, this is Social Distortion without even much of a twist to speak of. The first song gives the listener a false sense of good things to come, and then the mayhem begins - there's nothing original, insightful, or worthwhile in or around this CD except the jewel box it came in - and even that was broken. Were they banking on the listener forgetting what the last song sounded like before the next one begins? It's one thing to have a cohesive and consistent style, but totally another to rehash the same damned thing on every track. (ADAM)
