"Fever To Tell" CD (Interscope)

With the exception of a decent single or two ("Maps," "Y Control") which embody breathy, noisy shoegazing, these songs are little more than rudimentary garage rock which is slightly more polished than the old Crypt Records catalog with vocals more reminiscent of Glass Candy's Ida No. Despite the hype and push, there just isn't much here to engage an inquiring set of ears - welcome to the new alternative rock, same as the old alternative rock.
