Some of the greatest bands on the planet make their home at Alternative Tentacles Records, so when a band shares the company of NoMeansNo and Victims Family, I dive in head first expecting greatness. In the case of Zeni Geva, someone drained the pool and I cracked my skull on the bare, silt-ridden floor. This trio from Japan has brought only the novelty of lyrics grunted in Japanese to this otherwise uninspired speed core / death rock mishmash of tunes. Does anyone have an aspirin? (ADAM)
